Charles F. McMillan served as Principal Associate Director for Weapons Programs at Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL), directing the science, technology, engineering, and infrastructure that enables LANL to deliver on its core mission of ensuring the safety, reliability, and performance of the nation’s nuclear deterrent. Prior to joining Los Alamos National Laboratory, McMillan served as B Division Leader at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in California. With 35-years of leadership and technical career experience at two National Laboratories, he advises the Department of Defense (DoD), Department of Energy (DOE), laboratories, and industry on a variety of strategic subjects. He holds a Doctorate in Physics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Physics from Washington Adventist University.
