James M. Coffin, PhD

Dr. James M. Coffin is an accomplished executive with over 20 years of leadership experience in the healthcare and life sciences sectors. He holds a PhD in chemistry from the University of Arkansas and was a Research Fellow at the University of Cambridge. Throughout his career, Dr. Coffin has held pivotal roles in major global corporations, including leading the multi-billion-dollar healthcare and life sciences businesses at both Dell and IBM Healthcare.

Most recently, Dr. Coffin served as the President and Chief Operating Officer of Sema4, a health information company specializing in advanced genomic testing. During his tenure, he successfully scaled the company's revenue from under $50 million to over $200 million, while growing the team from 300 to over 1,000 employees in just four years.
